The new 2019/2020 season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, besides from coming with a new collection of incredible shows (both at a visual and quality level), will work as the introduction for the new price policy the theatre has implemented to favour the attendance of people under 35 years old to their shows. This way, people under 35 years old will be able to attend the opera Luisa Miller (which is being represented from July 14th to July 27th) with tickets at the reduced price of 30 euros.
15 days prior to the opening of each play, these tickets will go out for sale under the UNDER35 rate in the theatre's website, giving everyone interested the oportunity to book any seat available in any show at that price, up to a maximum of two tickets per person, as long as the companion is also under 35 years old. All recipients of this discount must prove their age with their IDs at the theatre's entrance.
This initiative joins the Liceu Under 35 or the tickets at 20 euros for students under 29 years old, plans implemented by the theatre to try to capture the attention of the audience of the future and bring the lyrical genre to the young minds. By making this kind of shows more accessible to those age ranges, the Liceu Theatre guarantees more easiness in the transition that should take place among its audience, from the plays that take place in the Petit Liceu, easy to understand and aimed at a young audience, to the acquisition of a seasonal pass.
